Three and a half cups brown sugar, 1 cup milk, 1 tab' spoon chocolate, 1 cup chopped walnuts. Cook about 3-4 an hour with a moderate fire. Watch carefully, stirrii occasionally to keep from sticking or burning. Try cold water as you do other candy to see if done. Add ni when it is done. Pour in buttered pan and when cool, cut cubes. Three cups brown sugar, 3-4 cup milk, butter size of walnut.
Boil the mixture until it forms a ball when dropped ir cold water. Add 1 cup of chopped walnut meats, 1 teaspo vanilla. Turn in buttered pans when almost hard.

Enough cream or milk to moisten 2 cups brown sugar, cup white sugar, 1 tablespoon butter, 5 tablespoons chocola 1 tablespoon vanilla, 1 cup broken walnut meats. Boil mi sugar and chocolate and butter 20 minutes. Remove from fl and cream, adding nuts and flavoring last.
