Prepare them for the spit (that is, the same as geese, only leave the fat on), and stuff" them with sage, onion, and bread-crumbs, prepared as for the goose, roast before a very quick fire, and serve very hot. There are many ways of cooking ducks, but this is the plainest and the best.
