Since this book was first published, in 1907, various changes have been made, and new illustrations inserted, for which the recipes will be found on the following pages. This is felt to be a distinct improvement on the first edition, and one which will be generally appreciated. Variety is certainly the spice of life to the good cook, and in this book she will find no lack of it. For each of the recipes following, an illustration will be found on the page noted. A trial of each is recommended.
