1 pt. whipping cream. Whites of 2 eggs. 2 tablespoonfuls of gelatine. 1/2 cup powdered sugar. 1 cup cold water. 1 dozen ladyfingers. 1 teaspoonful vanilla. 20 Maraschino cherries.

Dissolve the gelatine in the water 1 hour. Whip stiff a pint of heavy cream, add sugar, vanilla and gelatine, lastly stir in lightly the beaten whites of 2 eggs.
