Fruit may be served at every breakfast, but do not serve acid fruits like oranges and grapefruit when a cereal is served.

Serve plain foods simply cooked.

Serve home cooked, coarse cereals with eggs.

Serve baked potatoes with creamed fish.

Serve creamed potatoes with smoked fish.

Serve creamed potatoes with lamb chops.

Serve nuts and dates, or figs, with cereal in place of meat.

Do not serve elaborate made dishes for breakfast.
