Cabbage Mayonnaise.
Crisp bacon.
Chop cabbage fine, mix with mayonnaise. Butter two slices of whole wheat bread. Spread with the cabbage. Place two crisply broiled slices of bacon on the cabbage, and top with the other slice of bread.

1 cake cream cheese.
Thousand Island salad dressing.
Add enough of the salad dressing to make the cheese right to spread.

1/2 pound minced ham 5 small pickles 3 hard boiled eggs 2 pimentoes.
Salt.
Mayonnaise.
Chop fine the first four ingredients, add seasoning and mix with enough mayonnaise to spread easily.

1 package cream cheese.
2 tablespoons butter.
2 tablespoons heavy cream Hard cooked egg.
1 sour pickle.
1 tablespoon chopped green pepper 1/8 teaspoon salt Dash of pepper.
Cream together the cheese, butter and cream. Chop the egg, pepper and pickle very fine, add seasoning and mix well. Spread between slices of bread.

Bread Butter.
Canned asparagus Mayonnaise.
Cut bread in very thin slices and spread with butter and mayonnaise. Place a stalk of canned asparagus on the bread and roll the bread around the asparagus forming a roll. Be careful to use only the tender part of the asparagus.

1 finely chopped piece preserved ginger.
2 cups walnut meats chopped.
2 cups chopped dates Ginger syrup or lemon juice.
Combine the dates washed, and chopped, the ginger and nut meats. Use either the ginger syrup or lemon juice to moisten until right to spread.

3 eggs.
1 cup sweet or sour cream 1 tablespoon sugar Few grains cayenne pepper.
4 tablespoons finely chopped red or green peppers.
1 teaspoon mustard 1 teaspoon salt 3 tablespoons mild vinegar 11/2 pound American cheese.
Beat the eggs, add cream, butter, sugar cayenne, pepper, mustard and salt. Cook over boiling water till thick. Heat the vinegar and add it to the cream mixture. Cook another minute. Cream or crumble the cheese and add chopped peppers and enough of the dressing to make the mixture spread easily.

Thinly sliced tomatoes Canned salmon.
White bread Butter.
Cut the bread one fourth inch thick and spread with butter. On one slice put a layer of the tomatoes salted. Cover this with the salmon minced, and add the second slice. No other dressing is needed, but a little mayonnaise may be mixed with the salmon if desired.
