1/2 cup butter.
1/2 cup sugar.
1/2 cup Gold Medal flour.
1 pint milk.
6 eggs.
1 cup maple sugar.
1/2 cup water.
1/2 cup whipped cream.
Rub flour and butter together, add scalded milk and sugar. After cooling add beaten yolks, then beaten whites of eggs. Bake standing in a pan of water, from thirty to forty-five minutes.
For sauce boil maple sugar and water to a syrup and add whipped cream.
