Rice Pudding

1 cup rice. 3 cups water. 1/2 pint whipping cream. Maple sugar.

Cook rice in a double boiler with water. When done spread out on large platter to cool. When cool add the cream whipped and grate maple sugar over the top.

Rice Pudding. 2

1/2 cup rice. 2/3 cup sugar. 1 quart rich milk. 2/3 cup raisins. 1 teaspoon butter.

Bake slowly 2 hours. When about half done add the raisins and butter. Stir occasionally.

New England Rice Pudding

1/2 cup rice. 1/2 cup sugar. 2 quarts milk. 1/2 cup raisins. 1/4 teaspoon salt. Nutmeg.

Sprinkle nutmeg on top and bake 2 hours.
