1 quart cranberries
1 pint sugar
1/2 pint water
Wash the cranberries; put them in a saucepan with the water; cover and bring to boiling-point; boil rapidly fifteen minutes. Press through a colander; bring again to boiling-point; add the sugar and boil five minutes. Turn into a mould and stand at once in a cold place.
