Rumex Crispus, Yellow Dock. In large doses (I.e., 30 I.) a valuable alterative, tonic, and laxative of direct utility in cutaneous disorders affecting persons of the strumous diathesis. In small doses (0, I or 2 I.) it is esteemed in tickling cough, aggravated by talking and night air, and with rawness of larynx and trachea. It is said to cure exhausting morning diarrhea marked by brown, watery discharges.
