Iodide of potassium is stated to have proved very efficacious in intermittent fever (American Journal, April, 1867; Medical Times, ii., 1872). The tincture of iodine is the "Elixir de Wil-lebrand" used on the Continent in doses of 10 to 15 min., and, it is said, with success (British Medical Journal, ii., 1874).
