Latin, Aquae Aromaticae
Eng., Aromatic Waters. Aromatic waters, when prepared from volatile oils, are intended to be, as nearly as practicable, saturated solutions which must be clear and free from solid impurities, and, unless otherwise specified, should be prepared by using 0.2 per cent. of the volatile oil in distilled water.
