Eng., Sodium Hypophosphite. Formula, NaPH202..
Colorless plates or white granular powder.
Odorless; a bitterish-sweet, saline taste.
In about 1 part of water; soluble in alcohol; deliquescent.
15 grains (1 Gm.).
Eng., Syrup of Hypophosphites. Calcium Hypophosphite, 45 Gm.; Potassium Hypophosphite, 15 Gm.; Sodium Hypophosphite, 15 Gm.; Diluted Hypophosphorous Acid, 2 mils; Glycerin, 50 mils; Sugar, 600 Gm.; Water, to make 1000 mils.
2 1/2 fluidrachms (10 mils).
