Dose, 1/2 - 1 min.; 0.03 - 0.06 c.c. The oil expressed from the seeds of Croton Tiglium. Brownish-yellow to dark reddish-brown, viscid, with a disagreeable odour, and an acrid, burning taste. Entirely soluble in absolute alcohol, freely soluble in ether and chloroform.

Oleum Eucalypti. Oil of Eucalyptus. Dose, 1/2 - 3 min.; 0.03 -0.2 c.c.
The oil distilled from the fresh leaves of Eucalyptus globulus and other species. Colourless or pale yellow oil, with an aromatic, camphoraceous odour, and a pungent taste; leaves a sensation of coldness in the mouth.
Oleum Juniperi. Oil of Juniper. Dose, 1/2 - 3 min.; 0.03 - 0.2 c.c-The oil distilled from the full-grown, unripe, green fruit of Juniperus communis. Colourless or pale green-yellow with the characteristic odour of the fruit and an aromatic, warm, bitterish taste.
Spiritus Juniperi. Dose 20 - 60 min.; 1.2 - 4 c.c. - 5; Alcohol, 100.
Oleum Lavandula. Oil of Lavender. Dose, 1/2 - 3 min.; 0.03 - 0.2 c.c.
The oil distilled from the flowers of Lavandula vera. Pale yellow or nearly colourless, with the fragrant odour of the flowers, and a pungent, bitter taste. Soluble 1 in 3 of alcohol 70%.
3Spiritus Lavandulæ. Dose, 5 - 20 min.; 0.3 - 1.2 c.c. - 10; Alcohol, 90.
Oleum Menthæ Piperita. Oil of Peppermint. Dose 1/2 - 3 min; 0.03 - 0.2 c.c.
The oil distilled from fresh flowering peppermint, Mentha piperita. Colourless, or pale yellowish, when fresh but darkening with age; odour of peppermint and a strong, aromatic taste, followed by a sensation of coldness in the mouth.

Oleum Menthæ Viridis. Oil of Spearmint. Dose, 1/2 - 3 min.; 0.03 - 0.2 c.c.
The oil distilled from the fresh flowering spearmint, Mentha viridis. Colourless, or pale yellowish, when fresh but darkening with age;odour and taste of the herb. Soluble about 1 in 1 of alcohol; soluble in alcohol absolute. 1Aqua Menthæ Viridis. 1 in about 1,000, by distillation.
