An endless variety of colors and tints can be produced by mixing. The following are only a few of them, - such as may be serviceable: -
White lead and a little black.
White lead with burnt umber and a little yellow ochre for a warm tint; raw umber and a little black for a green tint.
White lead with Prussian blue.
White lead with yellow ochre.
Add more white to the buff.
Raw umber with Prussian blue, thinned with boiled oil and turpentine.
White lead with Prussian blue and chrome-yellow.
White lead and black.
