100 pounds sublimed white lead (or basic lead carbonate); | |
25 " | American zinc oxide; |
25 " | whiting, bolted; |
7 " | medium chrome yellow in oil; |
3 " | Venetian red, medium in oil; |
285 " | fine barytes; |
55 " | raw linseed oil; |
500 pounds paste. | |
Note. A thorough mixing is all that is required to produce a smooth paste, if the white ingredients are free from grit.
