Paragraph 46. Cypress is a wood that is very similar to the white cedar. It is a light wood of rather open pores. The boards can be had in great widths, because the trees grow very large. The wood is soft and lends itself easily to tool processes. It is used for various kinds of construction work which do not require great strength.
