To turn a piece of the form and dimensions shown in Fig. 106.

Turn a plain cylinder 3 inches in diameter, mark on it the lines that determine the convex curves, and reduce the remainder of the stock to a diameter of 2 1/2 inches, and then cut the convex curves. Next, mark the position of the concave curves and cut them in the same manner that the concave curves were cut in the regular fourth exercise.
