This developer will keep for a long time if the bottle containing it is kept full, otherwise the air will act on it. To develop six 8 x 10 bromide prints use 1 ounce of the stock solution and 6 ounces of water.

To fix bromide prints keep them moving in a bath made by dissolving 8 ounces of hypo in 2 quarts of water and then adding 1/4 ounce of metabisulphite of potassium and 1/4 ounce of powdered alum. Let the prints remain in this bath for about 10 minutes and then wash them thoroughly.
