This section is from the book "Workshop Notes & Sketches For Handicraft Classes", by Thomas A. Clark. Also available from Amazon: Workshop notes & sketches for handicraft classes.
This Edition of "Workshop Notes and Sketches" has been carefully revised and considerably enlarged. In response to numerous requests made to him, the Author has added an entirely new part on "Metal Work," which it is hoped may meet with an equal measure of approval to that bestowed on his Wood Work notes.
Under the head of Metal Work, the subjects of turning lathes, planing, shaping and drilling machines, black-smithing, moulding, and fitting are taken up and treated from the standpoint of a practical teacher, whose daily duty it is to instruct in the various branches of handicraft dealt with in this little volume.
October 1892.
