1. See 1, 3, and 4 in Model No. 6.
2. Measure and draw on wood straight lines and arcs for handle and blade.
3. Bore holes and saw with splitting saw and back saw.
4. Finish to lines with knife and spoke-shave.
5. Draw oblique lines on sides of blade, and plane.
6. Bound handle (making it first octagonal) with spoke-shave, finish with file, and sandpaper.
