Cut from a 7-8" board a piece 10 1-8" x 15 1-2". Prepare from this an oblong 9-16" x 10 1-16" 15 1-16". Place drawing upon the board, and bore hole with auger bit.

Cut around lines with turning-saw. Cut to lines with chisel and file.

Finish broad surface with smoothing plane; finish edges with sand-paper.
