Most nouns and pronouns are inflected to show whether they represent one or more than one. The form that represents one is called the singular form. The form that represents more than one is called the plural form. Some, as sheep, who, you, which, and the conjunctive pronoun that, are not inflected for that purpose. That is, these words have but one form to represent either one or more than one.
