Sec. 11. Certain combinations of consonants are of frequent occurrence, and they are represented by attaching, a hook to the stem indicating the first sound in such combinations. With respect to these hooks, the following rules must be carefully observed: a. Initial hooks are read After the stem to which they are attached, and after all vowels written before the stem; but before any vowels written after the stem, and before any final hook, circle, or loop.
b. Pinal hooks are read after the stem to which they are attached, and After all vowels or initial hooks, but Before a final circle.
