Having the M.C., or point of 10th House, as taught, by count or otherwise, then find the name sign at given under the letters M.C, Go down the column of degress on left-hand side till yon come to the M.C. degree desired. Opposite that degree, in the M. C. column of the sign, you will find the degree that is at the East. Run your eye up the column and you will find the sign that is on the Ascendant. By finding the M.C. on the wheel by count and the use of thls table is the simplest method ever given for an approximated Ascendant, which is close enough for all pnrposes, unless time of birth has been taken by a stop watch.
