An ill dream for those advanced in years, to others disappointment (Gypsy). The imp is a symbol of malice.
A dream of flatterers, parasites, etc. (Gypsy).
A dream of becoming indigent indicates sudden gain (Gypsy), probably based upon the caution of the provident and therefore successful person.
To dream of an infernal spirit is a bad sign, indicating death to the sick, melancholy to the healthful, also anger, tumults, illness (Artemidorus). This dream is conceded by physiologists to result from outward stimuli.
To dream of seeing a person becoming infirm, indicates you, yourself, will become so (Gypsy). A dream inspired by physical weakness.
A dream of illness and loss (Artemidorus). This dream usually due to overindulgence in alcoholic liquors.
To dream of being hurt with iron signifies damage; to trade in iron with strangers, losses and misfortune (Arte-midorus). See Kipling, "Rewards and Fairies."
A dream auguring isolation, loneliness (Gypsy). Obviously symbolical.
Augurs abundance and success (Gypsy). Held as a precious substance by orientals.
A dream of strong trust and friendship (Gypsy), A symbol of the Trinity and of the triple creative power, also of loyalty and friendship.
