Mohair Is The Hair Of The Angora Goat. The word is a corruption of the German mohr (a Moor). The material was first introduced into Spain by the Moors, and from thence brought into Germany. Under the head of Angora will be found a full account of the origin and production of this fiber. The following table indicates the amount of mohair fiber imported by this country for the last five years and the average price of same :
