3757. Twigg's Hair Dye
An excellent dye, as well as most serviceable hair-wash.
Take 1 drachm lac sulphur, 1/2 drachm sugar lead, 4 ounces rose water. Mix carefully. Wash the hair repeatedly, till it assumes the desired shade. (See Nos. 270, 1295, 147.)
