A quadruped of the Weasel tribe, often called minx, and valued for its fur, which is of a chestnut-brown color. It is found in the cold parts of North America, Europe and Asia, Jiving on the banks of rivers and lakes, and feeding on small birds, fishes, frogs, and mussels.
