The subject of guaranty and suretyship includes a treatment of those collateral contracts where one person goes security for another person. This subject is closely allied to the former one, as most of the applications of its principles arise in transactions concerning bills or notes. Guaranty and Suretyship is the twenty-seventh subject in this work, and will be found in Volume IX.
