On the other hand, if he can read or is otherwise guilty of negligence in not informing himself as to the contents of the written contract, and signs or accepts it with full opportunity of informing himself as to its contents, he can not avoid liability on the ground that he was mistaken as to its contents, in the absence of fraud or misrepresentation.1 The application
