You will need paint or crayons; some colored tissue paper, as well as stiff white paper; yarn for hair; cotton for fur and whiskers; a few pipe cleaners; and paste or glue. Collect all these things and have them ready before you start to make the egg dolls. You might be collecting them while your eggs are cooking because they should be very hard boiled, and that means at least ten minutes in bubbling water.
Stands to hold the eggs are made from strips of heavy paper, pasted in the shape of a ring. Decorate each one to go with the doll it will hold.

The nose of the witch is made of paper-half a circle rolled to a point.
For hair just glue bits of yarn around the face.

The hats for clown, witch and santa are made by rolling up a half circle of paper. The brim of the witch hat is made of another circle of paper, with a hole cut in the center and the point stuck through it. If the edges of the inner circle are slit, the point will stay firm. Cover with a colored band of paper.

The baby bonnet is made from a circle of tissue paper, frilled around the face, and pasted down with a strip of paper to represent ribbon.

The easter bonnet is just a round piece of paper with a feather cut from tissue paper to trim it.
Use pipe cleaners for arms and legs, and to stiffen ears. Cotton will make whiskers, and hair for Santa.

When you have made these egg dolls, perhaps you will think of more to do. See if you can make one like an Indian, a king, or a sailor boy.
