The personnel numbers about 2,000, of which 1,000 are permanent, and the remainder yearly conscripts. The executive officers are divided as follows: 1 rear-admiral, 4 captains, 14 commanders, 28 lieutenant-commanders, 37 lieutenants, 30 sub-lieutenants.
