This is one of the celebrated vineyards of the St. Julien region, as well as its neighbor Chateau Langoa. The Chateau Langoa, however, belongs to the third-class growth, while the Chateau Leoville-Barton belongs to the second class. Its owners are the celebrated firm of Barton and Guestier. This vineyard produces annually about 90 tuns of wine, while that of Langoa produces about 130 tons.
