One of the following agents may be employed for this purpose: 1. Soap and water, for washable materials. Use the soap freely and rub the stain thoroughly. Sponge woolen materials.

2. Chloroform or other clean organic solvent. Immerse the stained place in a small vessel of the solvent and brush gently with a small soft brush or rub with a cloth.
