These resemble the symptoms of congestion of the brain, and come on occasionally with great suddenness after exposure to the direct heat of the sun. In other cases the symptoms are slower in their approach, and in children resemble those of affection of the brain from teething.
Apply cold to the head, and mustard-plasters to the soles of the feet and calves of the legs, giving repeated moderate doses of stimulants internally at the same time.
