One-half cup molasses, one-half cup sweet milk, one egg, four tablespoons melted butter, one-half cup chopped raisins, one-half cup chopped nuts, one and one-half cups graham flour (roll raisins and nuts in the flour), one-half teaspoon soda, one-half teaspoon salt. Boil two and one-half hours in double boiler. Serve with lemon sauce.
One-half cup butter, one cup raisins, one teaspoon of cinnamon, one teaspoonful of cloves, one and one-half cups of graham flour, stir together. One cup molasses, one teaspoonful soda, one cup sour milk. Sauce: One-half cup sugar, one tablespoon butter, one cup hot water, one teaspoonful vinegar, one teaspoonful nutmeg, two teaspoonfuls of cornstarch. - Mrs. Jas. A. Johnson, Williams, Ariz.
