Sweet almonds, 3 dozen, Milk, 2 quarts,
Vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon, Sugar, 1/2 pound.
Peel the almonds, and pound them to a pulp, and boil in the milk. Add the vanilla, and sweeten with the sugar. Let it cool, strain through a fine sieve, and place on the ice.
