Two cups of flour, 1-2 teaspoon salt, 3 well beaten eggs, 2 cups milk. Beat until smooth and bake 1-2 hour in a pan containing some of the drippings from the roast or in the same pan with the roast. Cut into squares and serve on the platter with the roast. Mrs. A. J. Monroe.
Beat three eggs very light, add 2 cups milk, 1-2 teaspoon salt, and gradually 1 cup of flour. Use no baking powder or soda. Bake in buttered gem pans 3-4 of an hour and serve with the roast. The batter should be very thin.
