Recipe 1308 - Quick Black Bottom Cupcakes




Recipe 1308 - Quick Black Bottom Cupcakes

1 - 8oz. Philadelphia cream cheese (softened)
1 egg
1/3 cup white sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 - 6oz. bag Nestle's chocolate chips
1 box Devil's Food cake mix
2 TBSP Parkay margarine

In a mixer add cream cheese, egg, white sugar and salt--beat.
Remove bowl from mixer--add chocolate bits and stir. Transfer this
mixture into another bowl so you can use the mixer again. In the
mixer, prepare Devil's Food cake mix according to box directions BUT
add 2 TBSP Parkay--beat. Line cupcake tins with paper cupcake
liners. Fill each cupcake liner about 1/2 full with cake batter. Drop 1
heaping teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture into the center of the
batter in each cupcake liner. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-35 minutes.
