Ingredients:
3 lbs. Standard Flour.
1 1/2 pints of luke-warm Water.
2 teaspoonfuls of Brown Sugar.
1 1/2 teaspoonfuls of Salt,
1 oz. Yeast.
1 oz. Nut Margarine.
Rub the margarine into the flour, dissolve the yeast in the water, add the salt and sugar; then add the flour, knead well, put it back into the bowl, cover with a cloth, and leave it in a warm place for 1 1/2 hours. Then knead again, form into loaves, stand on baking tins, leave in a warm place for 15 minutes. Bake in a moderate oven.
