Pretty dwarf foliage plants recognized by their deeply ribbed leaves, often conspicuously spotted with distinct colours and washed with tints of various hues. Some good kinds are argentea, guttata, mar-garitacea, punctatissima, marmorata, superbissima, Van Houttei, etc. They require stove treatment, and are raised from seeds and cuttings.
