These are fine tropical stove shrubs with glowing bright orange-scarlet or yellow flowers in dense heads often nearly 1 ft. across in macrothyrsa (Duffi) which has crimson blooms. Some of the best kinds are Dixiana, orange; Fraseri, scarlet; lutea, yellow; Pilgrimi, orange scarlet; Westi, bright red; etc. Raised from cuttings in loam and peat.
