Stove plants, easily grown in sandy loam and peat, and very ornamental when in bloom. The best kinds are chryso-stephana, yellow; coccinea, scarlet; magnifica, red, with varieties carnea and Pohliana; Ghiesbrechtiana, red, etc. They are all raised from cuttings in spring.
