Whether the Roentgen rays will be of material aid in the examination of the stomach, is quite difficult to state at the present time. As we have just seen, the gastrodiaphane enables us to recognize the shape and situation of the stomach and occasionally also tumors favorably situated for this procedure. Whether the X-rays of Roentgen will do more, further investigations will have to demonstrate.
