Balsam Peru. Used externally as a stimulant to indolent raw surfaces, scabies, cracked nipples, chilblains, and tuberculous affections. Internally has been used in doses of I0 to 30 I. in gonorrhea and phthisis, and in doses of I to I0 I. in catarrh with copious purulent discharges.
