In cases of chlorotic amenorrhoea, a stimulating vaginal injection of about 1 dr. of liq. ammoniae to a pint of warm milk has been found useful by Dr. Ashwell, and I have frequently ordered it with advantage, the breasts being stimulated at the same time by friction with weak ammonia liniment. Dr. Dewees has recorded the cure of an obstinate case of pruritus pudendi by a similar injection.
