Brominized inhalations are of value in these disorders, and may be employed in the manner recommended by Bartholow. Half a drachm of bromine is mixed with four ounces of alcohol, and a small quantity of this placed in a wide-mouthed phial and vaporized by the warmth of the hand, furnishes a diluted vapor which should be drawn up into the nasal passages.
