The blisters are not disturbed but are handled with extreme care. The raw surface then painted with a one per cent. thymolized linseed oil. This application should at first be repeated every ten minutes to relieve pain. During the first few days the thymol spray is also applied as often as possible, which does much towards alleviating the pain.
