Latin, Cupri Sulphas
Eng., Copper Sulphate. Synonyms, Blue Vitriol, Blue Stone.
Large, deep-blue crystals.
Emetic, 4 grains (0.25 Gm.).
Astringent, styptic, caustic, antiseptic, emetic.
Still frequently employed as a domestic remedy, but almost unused by the profession.
